Fully Computerized NASCAR Certified:
Now there is a fully NASCAR certified automotive dynamometer in the Volusia County area with factory trained staff. You can now accurately measure horsepower/torque and compare it to RPM, speed, or time. All done with computer accuracy!
Measuring horsepower is relatively simple. The energy drawn from each drive wheel is stored in the rotating drum. A sensor connected to the drum calculates horsepower by measuring drum acceleration. Another sensor captures RPM from the coil, or a spark plug cable. The dynamometer sends continuous information to a computer running DynoJet's comprehensive software.
Since the DynoJet Dynamometer uses a single roller for each wheel, it does not cause the tire deformation and wear like the old Dual Roller Dynos.
The 48 inch drum assemblies realistically simulate street or race track conditions and therefore will produce repeatable results.
Hi-Tech computerized Dynamometer will diagnos problems related to most fuel, electrical, clutch or convertor slippage & drive train problems. Our computerized chassis dynamometer produces graphs and charts on printout as well as storing the information for future comparisons.
